No Fun At All

Künstlerinfo

It's a long way home from wherever you are if your hometown is SKINNSKATTEBERG/FAGERSTA in Sweden and you've sold more than 300 000 COPIES while going bonkers all over the world for more than a decade. So in 2001 they took a break! Just living like an ordinary boring Jimmy Brown for a while helped the band to get angry again, and in 2004 the band started doing occasional re-union gigs. One thing led to another and suddenly a new album had been recorded in Studio Underground. Same studio that gave birth to classics such as 'Out of bounds' and 'No straight angles'. The new album 'Low Rider' shows that NFAA today is back to their Ramones/Bad Religion roots and definitely much more than just another 90´s SKATEPUNK ACT. The sound of NO FUN AT ALL has always had punk itself as a steady ground, but the band's manic energy also consider a huge dose of melody. 'Low Rider' spill over of these melodies! The album is comprised of thirteen orginals ,written by the two headed dog 'FAKTA & INGO', plus an untipped cover version of IN FLAMES 'EPISODE 666' (dedicated fans are well aware of that the Gotheburg based headbangers did record a version of NO FUN AT ALL song 'STRONG & SMART' a few years ago).

In the spirit of D.I.Y this is the first release is on the bands own label 'BEAT ÉM DOWN RECORDS'. Marketing, administration and distribution are handled by Stockholm based company Deaf & Dumb Music and its subsidiary partners all over the world. So crank it up and enjoy the ride !!
