Litfiba formed in Florence in the 1980s to create a highly original band blessed with a
distinctive musical personality: a combination of rock, Latin/Mediterranean, melodious and
avant-garde music, which has kept the group at the forefront of today’s Italian and
international rock scene.
Litfiba embarked on their first European Tour back in 1984/1985, playing in Berlin, Pula,
Ljubljana, Nice, Paris, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Montpellier, Geneva and
Lausanne. The band also took part in various Festivals like the “Festival italiano” and
Belgium’s “Eurorock” event. Afterwards they flew to Australia, and upon their return they
played two sell-out evening concerts in Marseilles. (In the years that followed tickets to see
Litfiba were to sell out everywhere in France).
Litfiba have performed great shows all over the world, and although an avant-garde band,
they do not abandon the best rock traditions.
In 1992 they confirmed their presence at European and World rock festivals with
performances in Spa, Belgium, at the Rolo Festival in Mexico City and at the Pop Kommn
Festival in Cologne.
Their 1993 Terremoto (Earthquake) Tour included concerts in the major cities of France,
Belgium and Switzerland as well as one in Luxembourg, and they also played at the
Roskilde Festival in Denmark. In the following year, Litfiba reconfirmed their success in
Europe with concerts in Germany, Holland and Belgium, playing in Amsterdam, Frankfurt,
Berlin, Munich and Brussels. Their Spirito Tour of 1995 saw the band play 26 European
concerts in Austria, Switzerland, Germany and France.
Seven million record sales and a decade of individual music experiences later the
charismatic front man and the great guitarist are now back together.

And their first undertaking after reforming is a mandatory obligation for any self-respecting
rock band - a new tour.
They have all it takes to draw the public – energy, feeling and an impressive repertory of
great songs dating back to their beginnings and featuring most of their greatest hits, with
onstage accompaniment in the form of bass, keyboards and drums.
The first concerts announced in Italy are selling out, thus reflecting the incredible strength
of their music.
